The role you’ll contribute\:

The Senior Finance Manager (SFM) is responsible for operating system wide financial processes for AHMG. Through these processes the SFM will provide assistance to system wide finance, operational and physician leaders at AHMG with strategic and tactical decision making growing the organization. The SFM must ensure that financial statements are accurate, budgets are appropriate, pro formas or acquisitions contain proper assumptions and due diligence all while coordinating efforts to meet the varied demands of the multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment. The SFM produces models and projections used by all levels of leadership to make decisions and prioritize strategies. The SFM directly participates in the annual planning process, providing critical input to the development of volume projections, developing alternative & innovative ideas, and providing accurate forecasts.

  • Complex ad hoc reporting, analysis and forecasting for the AHMG leadership team
  • Review and monitor financial metrics on a routine basis (daily, weekly, monthly) for larger, complex practices with possible reporting for more than one senior leader
  • Present financial and trended statistical data on a routine basis both orally and written
  • Develop, implement, calculate the financial impact and support process improvement/actionable information at all levels of the organization which includes but is not limited to business plans and strategic opportunities
  • Mentorship and training of team members at AHMG
  • Creates, plans and executes procedures and process of the department and the organization
  • Effective manages all aspects of assigned projects with AHMG leadership
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned or directed

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed\:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or a business related field
  • 3+ experience in healthcare industry finance/accounting
  • 5+ overall experience in Finance/Accounting/related field
  • Healthcare industry experience can include two years of AHS Physician Practice Management Residency and a minimum of one year of employed healthcare management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's in Finance, Accounting or a business related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • MGMA
  • ACMPE certified
