Financial Analyst

HealthPartners is hiring a Financial Analyst. This role has immediate responsibility for HealthPartners financial metrics, reporting systems, chart of accounts, and budgeting efforts. They develop, maintain and support best practices in reporting that supports Operational Finance.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

1. Productively work with all levels of management; support and assist leaders, other team members, and other areas of HealthPartners.

2. Enhance processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting and financial analysis.

3. Maintain, develop, and support financial and managerial reporting.

4. Assists Operational Finance with financial reporting and trending efforts.

5. Supports financial budgeting processes.

1. Participates in special projects or studies as directed.
2. Assist with the monthly close process.
3. Support reporting hierarchies.
4. Maintain Chart of Accounts standardization
5. Support benchmarking and productivity reporting.
6. Support HP standard monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requests

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• BA/BS in finance, accounting, or business related field
• 3 years experience in finance, accounting, and/or business related field
• Strong spreadsheet and computer skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and colleagues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the health care industry
• Experience with PowerBI
