What you’ll be spending your time on (including but not limited to):
- Process and analyze payroll and related compensation in a timely and accurate manner, working with internal and external stakeholders, such as outsourced payroll vendors, covering Asia Pacific (APAC) region
- Support global equities team in relation to local filing and reporting needs across Asia Pacific
- Manage and resolve employee inquiries relating to payroll matters
- Establish procedures and policies for payroll and related compensation, collaborating with HR and Finance teams, across APAC and US head office
- Ideate and drive improvements by constantly challenging existing models, with the goal to positively transform payroll process and experience for employees
For this role, you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent
- 5-9 years working experience as Accountant/Payroll/ (or similar)
- Prior working experience in payroll-related scope would be highly regarded
- High level of written and spoken English. Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) also preferred
- Excellent computer and accounting software skills (especially Excel)
- Committed to deliver under strict monthly deadlines
- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker and creative problem-solver
- Bringing excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders of different levels and teams
- A proactive, service-oriented professional and a caring and an active team player, who is able to work independently
