Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations:
  • Manage, motivate, and train warehouse staff
  • Ensure the efficient and timely processing of orders
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and control
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Inventory Management:
  • Supervise receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
  • Implement and maintain an effective inventory control system
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize stock levels
  • Work with Customer Service to cycle old inventory for sales
• Logistics and Shipping:
  • Coordinate with the Shipping Manager for outbound shipments
  • Coordination of staging inventory for orders to the Sales Order
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Warehouse Maintenance and Improvement:
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proficient in inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Forklift certification is a plus
