Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $93k - $158k annually with additional bonus potential
Manage all warehousing for finished products, raw and packaging materials for the Winona Plant
Manage all shuttle transportation internally
Develop processes to manage inventory flow through the supply chain
Manage departmental budgets
Develop strategies on Capital and cost savings
Manage MHE equipment, purchases and optimization
Develop and manage all warehouse and transportations procedures and documentation to support, safety, food safety guidelines to comply with both internal and external quality and audit requirements
Develop people, by creating training materials, cross training opportunities of all team members
Manage Inventory movement, accuracy, quarterly counts, rotation, and controls
Manage aging inventory, reporting, approvals, dispositions, disposals and documentation
Liaison, with Corporate Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Materials Planning, Procurement to implement company policies and strategies to support all Customers, and Purchasing initiatives
Develop a predictive production plan that allows for effective planning for the purchase of raw materials and the most efficient production of final product
Measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis and present results to management
Develop measurement tools, to support the business and drive opportunities for improvements
Ensure raw materials brought into the plant are managed to minimize cost and storage requirements
Identify constraints in the supply chain and implement plans to correct deficiencies
Manage the Vendor Managed Inventory relationship ensuring that correct processes are in place
Manage any Vendor compliance issues, returns, claims and liaison with corporate procurement
Escalate any Supplier issues for expediting rush/late orders in conjunction with production scheduler at the Plant
Manage & promote a safe work environment and ensure that all employees are in compliance with safety polices
Provide leadership and actively participate in EHS, FSQ, and CI initiatives
Production Planning Group, Raw Material and Packaging Procurement Group, Warehouse Group
Additional duties as assigned
B.S. in Business, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
7 years’ experience of progressive supply chain experience.
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate in Microsoft Office (excel, word, power point).
Knowledge of SAP is strongly preferred.
Must have prior people management or supervising experience.
