WAREHOUSE MANAGER - NORCROSS, GA
We are the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions' leading service provider of comprehensive petroleum, sales, maintenance, inspection, testing and construction management services to major oil suppliers, independent retailers, contractors and other private & public sector facilities. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Oversee all activities of warehouse workers and other support staff engaged in the areas of shipping, receiving and inventory
- Monitor performance and provide training on job duties, company policies and procedures.
- Assist in conducting physical inventories. Investigate and resolve inventory shortages and overages
- Administers and supports safety protocols to ensure a safe work place
- Completes necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Implement and support Quality initiatives throughout branch
- Maintain account records, reporting and filing
- Engage in constant communication with sales, service teams and senior leadership
- Juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
- Communicate skillfully and effectively in person or over the phone
- Be a team player
- Mon-Fri no weekend work
Requirements
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of warehouse and/or managerial experience
- Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated Leadership and supervisory capabilities
- * Valid driving license and clean driving record is a must!! No CDL required
- Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting and caring equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
