Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Social Media Manager with a strong focus on paid advertising and data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for the strategic development, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across multiple social platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social advertising (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), excellent analytical skills to interpret campaign data, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external creatives to produce high-performing content that aligns with the company’s brand and business goals.
This position plays a key role in driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting various departments through high-impact marketing initiatives based on solid performance insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute performance-driven paid advertising campaigns across multiple social media platforms including Facebook/Instagram (Meta), TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Plan and manage ad budgets effectively to maximize ROI while staying within allocated budgets.
2. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of ad campaigns using platform-specific tools (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Analytics, etc.) and third-party tracking platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, GA4).
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in audience behavior and campaign performance to inform future strategies.
- Continuously optimize campaigns in real time to improve conversion rates.
3. Creative Collaboration & Content Direction
- Write creative briefs for visuals and messaging that align with target audiences and campaign goals.
- Stay up to date on platform trends, content formats, and viral hooks that can be applied to ad strategy.
4. Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Liaise with product, sales, and customer service teams to align paid media efforts with product launches, promotions, and customer feedback.
- Act as a bridge between marketing and other departments to ensure messaging consistency and business goal alignment.
- Educate internal teams on ad performance and its impact on broader company goals.
5. Strategy Development & Thought Leadership
- Proactively recommend new advertising strategies or tools that can improve reach, engagement, or lead generation.
- Research competitors and industry benchmarks to identify areas of opportunity.
- Contribute to quarterly and annual marketing planning with data-backed insights and paid media strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing paid social campaigns across multiple platforms (3+ years preferred).
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data interpretation, campaign tracking, and optimization.
- Proficiency with ad management platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google Ads) and analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Hotjar, etc.).
- Ability to write and communicate clear creative briefs and collaborate with design/content teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
- Solid understanding of audience segmentation, customer journeys, retargeting, and funnel strategies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
