Responsible for the North
America marketing plan for the Food & Nutrition Business Group, this role is
responsible for branding, marketing communications as well as digital
marketing. Internal reputation building and content development are also a key
part of the role. It furthermore includes the selection and support of
marketing data sources to ensure understanding of consumer trends in food &
nutrition markets.
Marketing/Technical
Communications
Define marketing communications plans by region including budgets, aligned with the Global Marketing Plans
Implement IMCD branding within the IMCD brand guidelines, acting as the brand ambassador for our business
Provide business group presentation content & ensure ongoing consistency and alignment with strategy
Project leader for IMCD participation in key trade show events
Produce relevant marketing collateral
Provide relevant content for internal as well as external communication incl to the trade press, sponsorships and industry publications
Measure the effectiveness of communications tools including trade show
Key principal interactions: provide support on market trends
Provide relevant Technical marketing documents (Technical brochures, highlights, etc.)
Create regional content for IMCD CA and US website, in line with our marketing strategy, driving web traffic and SEO
Internal
Communications
Develop and implement an internal communication plan to ensure consistent communication of marketing initiatives
Ensure strategy is communicated locally to the commercial team using internal communication platforms: Teams, SharePoint, etc.
Digital
marketing/Technical Initiatives
Support the production of digital marketing/Technical campaigns – drive sales growth
Define digital marketing campaign handbook & guidelines to the country organizations
Support the roll out and implementation of digital marketing tools include: website, myimcd and SalesAssistant
Collaborate closely with the Technical Application team in developing and executing the annual Technical Marketing Curriculum
Report on marketing KPI’s, ensuring activities are closely linked to the sales pipeline
Marketing
Systems/Marketing Data
Serve as the regional point of contact for market trend data analysis
Support, as needed, with customer Trend Innovation Presentations to communicate market trends relevant to driving our business
Ensure that market segmentation is accurately reflected in company systems
Analyze market data to define sales strategy into sub-markets of Bakery, Savoury, Beverage, and Nutrition
Develop content to support our marketing initiatives
Skills:
Excellent proofreading and editing skills. AP Style knowledge is a must
Effective and experienced B2C writer: internal releases, media alerts, ad copy, etc.
Direct experience managing trade shows and/or events
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multitask on a variety of different projects; handles competing priorities and pressures well
Phenomenal work ethics and resourcefulness
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign) and Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint and Excel expert level)
Experience with SEO/SEM optimization, AdWords, Google Analytics, WordPress, etc.
Media relations experience i.e., building media lists and editorial calendars, identifying media opportunities, media pitching, etc.
Media buying and negotiations experience
Creative design experience
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Well-organized and detail oriented
Required Qualifications:
5-10 years of work experience
in marketing/marketing communications in a world class organization, in
food ingredients or a similar B2B environment
Strong trackrecord of marketing
plan development, branding, communication planning, digital tools, and
customer growth planning
Excellent
understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management
Proven
track record in creating and executing successful e-mail marketing,
Internet marketing, and direct marketing programs
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Food Science with Marketing & Communications experience
Experience in public relations and/or marketing roles

This position has no supervisory
responsibility.
This job currently operates on a
hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remote work environments. This
role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and
the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed.
Up to 30% of travel is expected for
this position.
