Position Overview:
Join the Premier Lacrosse League's Creator Network as a remote freelance video editor crafting compelling content from our videographers for the league, teams and beyond. We're seeking skilled editors who can transform game footage, player interviews, and behind-the-scenes content into engaging stories that showcase the athleticism, personality, and culture of the PLL. This remote role offers the opportunity to work with content from the fastest growing professional sports league in North America while building your portfolio with high-quality professional sports productions. With this position, you will not be asked to shoot any content of the athletes.
Qualifications:
- Experience shooting fast-paced sports, with a portfolio demonstrating your videography skills
- Understanding of lacrosse or willingness to quickly learn the sport’s nuances
- Equipment suitable for professional sports videography
- Understanding social media trends
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of video editing experience, preferably sports content
- Ability to color grade footage to match PLL brand standards
- Knowledge of optimal export settings for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Receptive to feedback and able to implement revisions efficiently
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Previous work with lacrosse is a plus
Compensation:
- $75/hr, 8 hours per week
- Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
- This is a contractor position, not a full-time position
