Inventory Specialist

We are looking for someone with experience in inventory and cycle counting.

80% working out in the plant and yard physically counting product

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

• Ensures shipments going in and out
• Creates inventory reports
• Coordinates with Inventory Manager on all products
• Tracks inventory maintenance
• Makes sure the flow of product goes smoothly
• Ensures all inventory is organized
• Addresses any inventory problems and challenges
• Forecasts future inventory requirements with the inventory manager
• Manages inventory levels for different categories of products by analyzing quantities, rate of sales, trends, etc.
• Makes decisions that maximizes profits
• Creates monthly, quarterly and yearly cycle counts of all inventory

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma.

EXPEREINCE

• Arithmetic skills
• Two or more years of experience in the field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; accurate and detail oriented as well as the ability to communicate effectively with staff at various levels. Attention to detail and accuracy a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to solve practical problems and to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
