Your Mission
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting our global logistics operations. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing the movement of assets between our global hubs, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring our systems reflect real-time, accurate data.
Your work will ensure that assets (such as containers, equipment, and consumables) are in the right place, at the right time, in the right condition—supporting both operational continuity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Logistics Coordination
- Plan and arrange international and domestic movements of assets between global hubs, customer deliveries and collections and exhibitions and trade shows.
- Monitor and manage container flow to prevent shortages and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery.
- Identifying the most appropriate transport mode with transit time and cost consideration
- Liaising with, and communicating to, internal departments to ensure there is clear visibility of logistics actions/progress
- Coordinate with freight partners, couriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely transport.
- Ensure all logistics transactions are accurately recorded in the company’s systems
- Managing the day-to-day relationship with the Logistics and Transport Suppliers
- Creating Purchase Orders
- Deliver efficient freight rates, secure space through block bookings, and suggest optimisations to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels across the network using live inventory data.
- Track asset availability, utilization, and readiness across hubs.
- Help maintain Min/Max levels by initiating replenishment or redistribution where needed.
- Perform inventory checks, and reconciliations as required.
- Identify and resolve logistics issues to minimise delays and disruptions.
Supplier & Stakeholder Communication
- Liaise with global logistics providers, 3PLs/4PLs, and freight forwarders to manage movements and resolve queries.
- Resolve supplier queries and financial discrepancies swiftly and professionally.
- Monitor performance against agreed KPIs, prepare monthly review insights, and track costs, tariffs, and past performance for future planning.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and supplier accountability.
- Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Customer Service, Commercial) to support client needs and project timelines.
- Support procurement with RFQs, tariff updates, and rate negotiations when necessary.
General & Cross-Team Support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, supply chain, procurement, operations, and customer service teams to deliver an exceptional experience from order to delivery.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Tower’s logistics platform
- Step in to support colleagues when needed and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team.
- Assist with administrative and operational support across the wider logistics function as required.
- Compliance with Tower’s Integrated Management System and internal processes
Job Requirements
Education
- A-Level education or equivalent (university degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred but not essential).
Experience
- Experience in logistics coordination, inventory planning, or supply chain operations (ideally in a global setting).
- Experience working with logistics service providers, 4PL/3PL relationships.
- Strong understanding of shipping modes (air, sea, road), customs, and documentation.
- Solid Excel and systems skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
