• Conduct screening for possible gifted assessment
• Monitor gifted referral/assessment process
• Set up and maintain individual files for students relating to gifted
• Conduct gifted assessment
• Write gifted assessment reports
• Participate in gifted LSC meetings
• Work with gifted teachers to gather Gifted Program Self-Evaluation information
• Maintain contact with MDE regarding gifted programming and procedures
• Meet with parents/school personnel concerning gifted program issues as needed
• Work with district administration/gifted teachers to ensure staff development requirements are met
• Develop Gifted Handbook with input from gifted teachers – School Board approval
• Work with administrators at individual schools to resolve issues related to gifted education
• Other duties as needed
