Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects in the Sydney area. The ideal candidate will have experience in the building and construction industry, strong project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
Skills:
– Proven experience in project management within the building & construction industry
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
– Knowledge of building codes and regulations
– Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
– Excellent problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
– Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish
– Manage budgets, timelines, resources, and quality control measures
– Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
– Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
– Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
-Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager
-Certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is preferred
-Familiarity with relevant software applications such as AutoCAD or Revit
