Certified Medical Assistant

Springtime Pediatrics is seeking a friendly, self-motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. Work will be split between front desk and back. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, friendly, and attentive to patient’s needs. At least three years of recent medical assistant experience in pediatrics is required. Must be comfortable with multi-tasking as we are a small practice. You will need to verify insurance, coordinate referrals, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, keep the office organized, as well as work up patients, administer shots, manage vaccine inventory, etc.

The ideal candidate would be someone with not only pediatric MA experience, but someone who is willing to grow their skill set as the practice grows, and who demonstrates leadership potential.

We are looking for someone willing to work at least two evening shifts, and seven hours on Saturday, in addition to regular business hours.

Medical Assistant Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
• At least three years of experience in a pediatric office
• Experience using an EHR system
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Willing to work shifts 8am- 8pm
• Willing to work weekends
