As the Category Finance Manager , you are the Category Finance lead for the Bakery & Condiments business. The role is part of a cross functional team charged with the growth strategy for Bakery & Condiments business, a key strategic pillar within the ANZ Business Unit.  In this highly visible role, the CFM bring their experience and commercial expertise and superior business partnering skills to challenge, advise, assess opportunities, influence decisions and bringing insightful, valued recommendations to the Bakery & Condiments Category Team.  

About the role

  • With an exciting growth agenda across the ANZ division this role presents an opportunity to partner an experienced Marketing director in delivering the category strategy.
  • The ability to work across Finance, bringing the right functional SMEs and teams together to maximize the impact the Finance organization has on the Business Unit.
  • The fast pace and changing environment requires the ability to operate both at a strategic and tactical level. 
  • This will oversee the financials for the Bakery and Condiments categories including, monthly performance reporting, partnering across A&P activities as well as identifying future opportunities to further expand. 

What are we looking for in a Category Finance Manager

  • At least 5-7 years experience in a variety of commercial roles across both sales and operations/ supply chain finance. 
  • Formal Accounting Qualification from a recognized body
  • Substantial experience in a business / commercial environment partnering and influencing at multi-levels within an FMCG or manufacturing business
  • Experience working cross-functionally
  • Ability to join the dots and make decisions in a fast moving global business environment
  • Demonstrated influencing skills with the ability to use commercial acumen to provide recommendations and drive value to organisations
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and cross-functional teams
  • Strong work ethic and a demonstrated ability to achieve deadlines, deliver high quality outputs and work under pressure
