We are seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Director - Software Engineering to lead our India based development teams. The candidate must have extensive experience with Microsoft technology stack, with some experience in Power Platform, and a proven track record of managing development teams in India integrated with US teams and overseen by multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a hands-on leader who leads & manages software engineering teams based in India, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Optimize application performance and scalability.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Strong experience in Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, Azure, SQL Server, with knowledge of Power Apps, cybersecurity best practices, and secure coding standards.

  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code along with strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles.

  • Experience with cloud architecture and services, particularly Azure.

  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.

  • Experience working in a large matrix organization, with proven experience in managing onshore and offshore development teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
