We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager with a passion for serving the community. In this role you will be responsible for retaining and growing accounts in the EMS and Fire sectors within the Greater Chicago Area. Your goal is to improve client relationships, increase adoption of our full-tech stack, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Candidates must have at least 5+ years in a customer-facing role (account management, sales, or customer success). Also required, a proven track record of managing and growing client accounts, preferably in the public safety, municipal, or emergency services market. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills are a must.

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in EMS or Fire Services, or those with success in selling to municipal or emergency service agencies. A former career as a paramedic, firefighter, or related public safety role is highly preferred and provides a strong foundation for building rapport and trust with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Retention: Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and expand product adoption within existing districts, with the goal of transitioning them into our full technology suite.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, responsiveness, and trust.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with customers to optimize workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Sales Support: Set and schedule appointments for sales presentations and product demos. Identify decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Business Development: Prospect for and support the onboarding of new districts within your territory. Leverage your industry knowledge to expand our footprint in the market.
  • Client Entertainment: Host customer events, attend community engagements, and build relationships through meaningful, personal interactions.
  • Feedback: Act as the voice of the customer to internal teams, ensuring products and services are aligned with field needs.
