POSITION/TITLE: Warehouse Manager
WORK LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL
POSITION REPORTS TO: Plant Manager
WORK TYPE: On site
JOB SUMMARY: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and mentoring team members; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Managing the warehouse team members daily which includes: performance and attendance management, time management, overtime, team member development and policy compliance.
- Demonstrates WinCup OPERA values.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Responsible for managing the annual warehouse inventory process.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning team members; following up on work results.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training new team members.
- Responsible for providing a safe work environment and participating in plant safety program including safety audits and safety initiatives.
- Complete various supply chain daily reports
- Conducts job, safety and other related PIT training with staff.
- Communicates and enforces company work rules, and policies including attendance.
- Enforces safety rules, housekeeping standards and team member work practices in accordance with company policies and OSHA/FDA regulations.
- Follow all GMP and sanitation guidelines.
- Performs annual performance evaluations of direct reports.
- Handles corrective and coaching actions.
- Responsible for controlling and monitoring attendance and punctuality of the entire staff.
- Works closely with Safety & Quality team to ensure safety and quality guidelines are sustained.
- Supports all current and new product demands.
- Works with all other departmental areas to maintain productivity and plant initiatives.
- Partners with JAX leadership to ensure team collaboration including training methods that leads plant productivity. May participate in required audits.
- Follows WinCup Values, follows company procedures, GMP, and other related safety standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Logistics preferred or equivalent work experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of supervision in a food and/or beverage grade manufacturing environment. Four (4) years in a management role within a non-union environment, strong Project Management, strong knowledge in warehouse operations and support, PIT equipment function and maintenance.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, ERP and HRIS system).
- Inventory Control – good analytical skills for analyzing data, problem solving and reporting out on data.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills – must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Supervisory skills – conflict resolution, coaching and discipline experience and the ability to work alone and in a team environment.

- Team Member will frequently be required to actively listen and exchange information.
- Team Member will be required to observe and assess information in a fast paced environment.
- Requires frequent use of a production, manufacturing equipment and/or machinery.
- Will be required to frequently move/transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds which may require frequent bending, twisting and reaching motions.
- Team Member may be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
- Team Member may be required to stand for long periods up to 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts.
- Team Member may be required to talk, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools, and controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch.
WORK ENVIRONMENT (Manufacturing Plant):
The characteristics listed below are representative of the work environment typically encountered by an individual while performing the essential duties of a position in our manufacturing plants. Note that office positions located within our Manufacturing Plants often require some plant floor presence throughout the day so these work environment details may not always apply, they should still be noted.
- Work space is one that contains moving mechanical parts.
- Requires work in an indoor manufacturing environment that may be exposed to extreme heat that is not air conditioned.
- Work environment contains loud noises and odors that may last for long periods of time or on a continual basis as well as occasional airborne particles.
- Must wear PPE while working, which includes hairnet, hearing protection and safety glasses with side guards at all times.
- Ability to work an 8+, 10+ or 12+ hour shifts as designated.
- Able to work weekdays, weekends and overtime as designated.
