Team Leader / Product Manager

Are you a strong Leader within the luxury Travel Sector looking to establish yourself with a highly successful luxury Cape Town African Travel company?

Our client requires your all-round experience designing and coordinating high-end travel experiences while leading and motivating a team of travel consultants.

This role requires expertise in luxury travel, with a strong understanding of sales and team management principles.

REQUIREMENTS

• Senior Travel African experience
• Communicating and keeping all consultants up to date on status of activities and deadlines
• In-depth knowledge of various destinations, luxury accommodations, and travel experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills
• Sales and Negotiation Skills
• Leadership and Motivation
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
• Organizational and Time Management

DUTIES

• Back up in the office as 2IC
• Luxury Travel Expertise researching, designing bespoke itineraries for clients, understanding their unique preferences, interests, and budgets.
• Lead, mentor and motivate a well established team of travel executives ensuring operational efficiency  Product development – designing and creating packages to help facilitate sales
• Contracting rates and terms and conditions with their suppliers
• Coordinating supplier visits  - training by suppliers
• Training support in the office
• Attending local trade shows
• Assisting the team ensuring rates are loaded correctly in the system
• Pulling information / reports 

Salary:  Negotiable dependent on experience
