Requirements

As a Senior UX Designer III, you will drive the strategic direction of user experience design for complex products, features, and programs. You will independently lead large-scale UX initiatives that require deep problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and a user-centered approach. Your expertise in UX design, coupled with a solid understanding of technology, will enable you to shape innovative solutions that align with business goals, user needs, and industry best practices.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to define design strategies, create intuitive experiences, and mentor mid-to-senior-level designers. Additionally, you will contribute to the evolution of UX processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and design excellence across teams.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience Strategy & Execution

• Owns the UX strategy and vision for complex products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
  
• Leads the end-to-end design process for substantial initiatives involving multiple interconnected components.
  
• Develops and implements innovative UX solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
  
• Leverages data-driven insights, user research, and behavioral analytics to refine design decisions.
  
• Drives usability testing and iterative improvements to ensure seamless and delightful user experiences.
  

Technical Mastery & Product Innovation

• Demonstrates mastery in UX design principles, interaction models, and information architecture.
  
• Works closely with engineers and product teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
  
• Champions UX best practices, influencing the technical direction and strategic decision-making for products and platforms.
  
• Identifies opportunities for process optimization, tool enhancements, and design system improvements.
  

Leadership & Mentorship

• Provides mentorship to mid-to-senior-level UX designers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to align design strategies with business goals.
  
• Effectively communicates high-stakes design recommendations and nurtures relationships across stakeholders.
  

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Influence

• Works with developers to balance design vision with technical feasibility and performance constraints.
  
• Aligns UX initiatives with client long-term goals, influencing technical strategy and design best practices.
  
• Promotes a culture of innovation by identifying industry trends, advocating for user-centric approaches, and contributing to thought leadership in UX design.
  

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 7-10 years of experience in UX design, product design, or interaction design with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX solutions.
  
• Expertise in design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.), prototyping, and usability testing.
  
• Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and human-centered design principles.
  
• Experience working on complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to define and drive UX strategy for large-scale initiatives.
  
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineers, understand front-end development constraints, and contribute to technical discussions.
  
• Experience in conducting user research, A/B testing, and behavioral analytics to inform design decisions.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting design solutions to executives and cross-functional teams.
  

Preferred:

• Experience with designing for enterprise platforms, SaaS solutions, or automotive/IoT-related interfaces.
  
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bridge the gap between design and development.
  
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and lean UX principles.
  
• Previous experience leading UX teams, defining design processes, or establishing UX governance in an organization.
