About the role
The Software Engineer II supports business processes through technology solutions. This role is responsible for working in partnership with Architects, DBA, and other members of the Information Services team for the maintenance, enhancement and creation of web applications.
What you’ll do
What you’ll bring
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, MIS, CIS or equivalent, or similar experience.
· 4+ years proven track record in .NET application development, SQL Server or equivalent SQL development experience.
· Ability to write, test, debug, and continuously improve software that is used by multiple types of customers.
· Experience with server-side languages and frameworks including C# and .NET 5+
· Experience coding client-side languages such as Vue.js, ReactJS and/or KnockoutJS
· Experience with build/package/deploy tools such as Gradle, Octopus, NPM, and/or GitHub Actions
· Experience with relational database services such as SQL Server and/or Postgres
· Experience with Cloud services and architectural best practices within AWS
· Understanding of healthcare data and processes is a PLUS.
· Experience with automated testing including end-to-end tools such as Cypress. CI/CD is a PLUS.
· Experience with Kafka is a PLUS.
· Ability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal direction.
· Strong planning and organizational skills with critical attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
· Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work with team members and customers in a professional, friendly manner.
