Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position will work closely with various stakeholders across the company including Finance, Technology and other corporate teams to solve complex problems and deliver and improve company-wide processes that directly impact Amazon’s senior management and Board of Directors (BOD) reporting. The successful candidate will support key financial and business reporting routines and process excellence projects.


Key job responsibilities
- Generate reports and analyses that support senior leadership and Board of Directors management routines
- Research, analyze and convert finance and business data into actionable findings and process improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance stakeholders to gain data inputs for a multitude of enterprise-wide FP&A processes
- Show bias for action and effective time management in daily routines, ad hoc analyses and ongoing projects
- Maintain process and best practice documentation and SOPs
- Present data clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing


- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) applications for finance processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
