Position
Our client requires a Senior Project Manager to perform:
• Consolidation of the department’s IT infrastructure equipment and services into the Enterprise IT Environment;
• Transition of the department’s applications into the corporate domain;
• Transition of the department’s annual IT Infrastructure operating/capital budgets and other item such as: assets, licenses, contracts and maintenance agreements;
• Decommission of the old domain once all applications and services have been transitioned.
• Enhance disaster recovery capabilities for all applications, to ensure that staff can continue to work during various types of potential disasters.

Qualifications

Requirements
-Infrastructure Operations experience on projects using a structured framework, performing business analysis and systems analysis, design, construction, transition and deployment including the production of supporting documentation.
-Project management experience successfully leading IT infrastructure operations projects on time, on budget and to specifications adhering to PMO standards and guidelines.
-Experience with domain and data migration projects.
-Change Management and Service Transition experience (identify years of experience) as related to IT service management practices
-Experience negotiating and managing vendors and working with multiple stakeholders.
-Progressive, directly related experience in information management and technology (IMT).

Desirables
-Experience with Disaster Recovery projects.
-Past experience with Project Management Offices including pre-existing templates, guides, tool, processes, standards and methodologies.
-Past experience with corporate projects that use enterprise data standards, databases and applications.
-Experience using automated project management tools including scheduling tools.
-Project Management experience in the implementation of Commercial off the shelf software (COTS).
-Project Management experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
-Superior planning and organization skills and the ability to prioritize/manage workload to assigned project objectives.
-History of excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to make formal presentations and communicate well at all levels within the organization.
-Demonstrated facilitation skills incorporating input from individuals with diverse backgrounds (technical, business/professional, administrative) and /or priorities.
-Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
