Mechanical Engineer Intern


Primary Purpose:  Assist the Mechanical and Design Engineering team in drafting all types of projects involved with the manufacturing process of refuse equipment.

Essential Duties
The Mechanical Engineer Intern will be responsible for preparing drawings for production and making changes or modifications as needed. They will need to work with the welders and production lines to identify where improvements are needed in the drawings. They will need to keep all drawings up to date and properly filed for a streamlined process.  

Responsibilities
  • Create bill of material for company-manufactured products.
  • Document procedures to complete product assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Maintain up to date drawing system with all information properly filed and recorded.
  • Resolve issues related to quality, design and time saving initiatives.
Education: Pursing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
Experience: 6 months with CAD system preferred.
