The Wanderers Club is seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Manager. This Marketing Manager position is responsible for developing, coordinating and executing marketing tactics for the Club including but not limited to: direct and digital marketing, Member communications, branded collateral, events, food and beverage materials, and special projects.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee implementation of all Club marketing efforts, including signage, and other promotional materials for Club events, tournaments, and special promotions

• Lead the creation and execution of digital direct communications and promotional materials, working alongside Club departments to plan and refine menus, signage, posters, flyers, and templated marketing collateral

• Ensure deliverables for marketing materials are received from all Club departments in a timely manner

• Lead the creation and posting of printed and digital signage and marketing/promotional materials for upcoming events

• Maintain and post monthly event calendars across all Club departments

• Manage the Club’s presence on website and other digital platforms

• Manage the Club’s Instagram and LinkedIn profiles, including building following, selecting images, writing and scheduling content and managing Member engagement

• Contribute to business development, strategic presentations, and special projects, including the Club’s Jonas member portal

• Create and update Club and membership collateral when needed

• Personally conduct photography and videography shoots as well as find and hire outside vendors for larger scale events or shoots

• Conduct regular audits of Club signage and update

• Attend regularly scheduled department head and Club meetings and calls



QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required; marketing or communications major preferred

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom)

• Experience with photography, including capturing and selecting high-quality images for use in marketing and promotional materials

• Strong communication skills and ability to take notes and communicate effectively, both written and orally

• Must be flexible and solution oriented

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Creative thinking and a passion for staying updated with industry trends and marketing best practices

• Must be willing to travel if necessary
