Position Purpose 

To support the accounts team with recording financial transactions, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, assisting with tax compliance



Main Tasks 

  • Fortnightly and monthly payroll processing
  • Assist with BAS, Payroll Tax, PAYG installment, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, ensure compliance in all statutory requirements
  • Processing employee entitlements and leave liabilities
  • Assisting with ER records management
  • Reconciling invoices, and receipts in Xero
  • Assisting with accounts payable including processing of invoices due for payment
  • Assist with accounts receivable including overdue debtors 
  • Liaising with external company accountants
  • Understand and work within the NDIS, expectations of being a provider and complying with the NDIS Code of Conduct (training on the job)
  • Understating and adhering to Connect2Care's policies and procedures
  • Working with our clinical software and clinical staff
  • Working with Microsoft Office 365 and other Connect2Care software

  • Fulfill other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required 


Requirements

Essential Qualifications  

  • CPA/CA Qualifications preferred  
  • Booking/accounting experience required desired experience within NDIS/Health company
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 
  • Connect2Care Induction 

 

Essential Requirements  

  • Police Check and International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas)
