Summary:

The Inventory Specialist assists with monitoring all the activities related to ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies, and products. Must bring unwavering professionalism and meticulous accuracy to the position and have exceptional math and observation skills. Communication with multiple departments is critical for success in this role. 

Essential functions:

  • Track, evaluate and help to manage stock rotation procedures.
  • Assists in controlling all goods entering and leaving according to the SOP.
  • Report to management and advising on process improvements.
  • Works within loss mitigation processes and protocols
  • Helps to compile inventory reports.
  • Assists in forecasting future inventory requirements.
  • Helps to resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Maintains inventory storage space usage within the warehouse.
  • Check items received according to SOP and are stocked correctly and safely.
  • Perform duties and tasks that have substantial variety and complexity.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in inventory operations or related field required.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Have high attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory, material movement and distribution of goods
  • Knowledge of cGMP
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in production/manufacturing area as well on occasion in an office setting. 
  • Ability to stand for long hours and walk extensively.
  • Ability to reach and/or extend hands/arms often.
  • Ability to wear required Proper Protective Equipment
