Job Purpose:
The Content Marketing Manager plays a critical role in executing Nordica’s content strategy and storytelling with an emphasis on tactical and foundational asset management to support retail and brand initiatives. This role is responsible for creating, organizing, and distributing digital assets—ensuring that retail partners and internal teams have timely, accurate, and on-brand content for product launches, campaigns, and seasonal sell-in and sell-out periods. The Content Marketing Manager collaborates closely with marketing, product, and sales to ensure content aligns with business objectives and drives measurable results. Additionally, they oversee the development and coordination of promotional merchandise to enhance brand visibility. Success in this role requires strong creative skills, a high level of organization, and a deep understanding of user interests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Content
- Capture and collect digital content for use by Nordica Brand and partners.
- Responsible for the production of domestic video content needs such as educational, product, social media content, advertising, etc.
- Responsible for the creation of assets to support sell in and sell out initiatives as requested by the sales and marketing team.
- Design effective advertising assets for both print and digital use
- Identifies content needs and collects and/or executes photo/video shoots to ensure sufficient content is available for all marketing activities
- Create custom POP for shops that improves in store branding and awareness
- Creation of visual assets for web portals, including banners, icons, backdrops, etc.
- Provide key accounts with custom imagery requests
- Work with product manager to create text rich imagery for product technology explainers
- Work closely with headquarters to ensure global creative is in line with US needs whenever possible
- Create and coordinate production of USA sales & marketing materials (NuORDER/ catalogs/ pricelists/ sales books).
- Responsible for the creative buildout of all email marketing campaigns with guidance and support from Marketing & Communications Specialist.
- Assist North American Marketing manager with the building and initiation of marketing content calendar
Asset Management
- Manage the digital asset bank on B2B, Salsify, and Cloud Drive. Distribute to media outlets when requested
- Establish and maintain a digital asset bank of action, lifestyle, and product imagery that properly aligns with B/T’s visual identity.
- Work with headquarters to collect and filter global photography that best represents the visual identity of Nordica.
- Work closely with Outside Social Media Agency to maintain a robust asset bank for use on social media channels.
- Work with web agency to ensure visual identity is in line with the US market.
Marketing
- Design and develop Nordica’s annual SWAG / Promotional items for reps annually with support from Marketing Manager.
- Support planning, logistics, and details of annual sales meetings with guidance of Marketing Manager.
Experience/Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Film, or Design.
- High Level Adobe Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Light Room, After Effects, Premiere)
- Mandatory 3-5 years of photo, video and editing experience
- Microsoft Office/iWork experience (excel, word, keynote)
- Practical knowledge and experience with e-commerce digital platforms
- High level of organization, and time management skills
- Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of the alpine skiing community
- Knowledge of retail sales & operations
