Civil Engineering Designer -- AVIABQ

JOB SUMMARY

Bohannan Huston is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Civil Engineering Designer to work in the Aviation Engineering Group in our Albuquerque office.

The successful candidate will utilize their design and AutoCAD Civil 3D software experience to support engineering teams on airport projects. Project work includes runway/taxiway design, airport planning, drainage and airfield lighting design/layout. Additional duties may involve preparing graphics for planning and presentation projects and with project material quantities for cost estimating purposes.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have earned a 2-year associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• You have 5 years' minimum experience in Civil Engineering design.
• You are a self-starter with basic guidance from design engineers on construction plan production.
• You have flexibility to work with different teams.
• You are fluent in AutoCAD Civil 3D software with alignments, surfaces, and corridors.
• You have experience with runway and taxiway design (desired), roadway and site development grading, and drainage plan production.
