GUAP, a leading youth magazine and creative agency, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to drive outbound lead generation and secure new clients. The successful candidate will also be responsible for promoting programmatic advertising solutions and maintaining relationships with existing clients. 

**Responsibilities:**

1. Lead outbound sales efforts and implement effective strategies to attract new clients, with a particular focus on promoting our programmatic advertising solutions.
2. Leverage our existing content, projects, and achievements to create compelling pitches for prospective clients.
3. Conduct market research to identify potential prospects and understand their needs, challenges, and goals.
4. Build long-term, productive relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to set up and optimize programmatic advertising campaigns.
6. Attend industry events and conferences to meet potential clients and stay informed about industry trends.
7. Regularly report on sales performance, client feedback, and programmatic advertising outcomes to the management team, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.


Requirements

**Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience in sales and media buying, preferably within the media or creative agency sector.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound sales and lead generation.
  • Deep knowledge of programmatic advertising, including ad buying, campaign optimization, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and the needs of under-represented youth audiences.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, programmatic advertising platforms, and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and committed to meeting sales goals.
  • Ability to travel as needed.


Benefits

**Compensation:**

This role operates on a 50/50 base salary and commission structure. This means that half of your compensation will come as a fixed salary, while the other half will be commission-based, directly tied to your sales performance. This structure allows for significant earnings potential based on your ability to secure new clients and drive sales results.
